The story

SalesLobe started from a simple observation: every "AI reply" tool on the market either sends on autopilot with no oversight, or is dumb autocomplete that doesn't learn. Neither is acceptable when the output is a message going to your prospect, or worse, to your client's prospect.

That observation didn't come from a whiteboard. It came from years inside the inbox.

Built by someone who has had to stand behind the send button

I've worked across every part of sales, from selling phones in a shop to cold calling, software sales, and now running email outbound. In that time, sales changed fundamentally. Everyone optimises sending: automating outreach, trusting AI to write faster. Almost nobody manages the replies, the actual conversation, with the same care.

And the more a team leans on AI, the more the organization itself loses grip on what's going out in its name. That's the gap I found.

SalesLobe exists to give teams a way to use AI without giving up control: clear rules, visible reasoning, review where it matters, and accountability for every message that leaves the business.

Because the real question has never been whether AI can write an email. It's who's responsible for it once it's sent.

Why we exist

Mission

Replies are where deals are actually won, and where most tools stop caring. Everyone builds for more leads; almost no one builds for what happens when they answer. Our mission is to give reply management the craft it deserves: every reply genuinely human, in your own voice, under your control.

Vision

AI agents will write more and more of business communication. That's not the question. The question is whether anyone stays in the loop. We believe there must always be a human in control, and a governance layer over what a company actually puts its name on. Because if everyone lets AI speak unsupervised, every company ends up sounding like the same AI. Your voice is your identity, and in a world where AI writes everything, sounding like yourself becomes the rarest thing you own. We're building the layer that protects it.

Powered by Anthropic Claude, the model we found most reliable for nuanced email reasoning, with Claude Haiku as fallback (same provider, no data ever leaves Anthropic) and EU-hosted Mistral on the roadmap.
